This dog was found in a train station just left and abandoned, his name is Stubby his owner was Corporal Robert Conroy. Conroy smuggled Stubby into his trenches in World War One, stubby used to lie down beside a wounded soldier before the medics came he even lay on the battlefield. He has been called the most decorated war dog of World War One, also when a German spy got into Conroy’s trenches Stubby shooed him away and the spy left with Stubby’s teeth in his bum. Because they couldn’t put all his medals on his chest they made a blanket to put all his medals on there so when he met president Woodrow Wilson he wore it. This blanket and his stuffed body
